Unless they are flogging you and being a royal PITA!
True, but given I'm close on 68 kilos, wearing site boots with steel toecaps and heavy duty overalls and the rooster is probably a bit over 2 kilos and as nature equipped him, I'm not going to get injured. Anyway, I was moving his home.;) The guy who owns these chickens has got a few interesting scars on his hands from his chickens which he proudly showed us all.:lau

@Shadrach sorry, but it isn't going to get better. :( I like to say that I can still do all the things I ever could, but it takes a lot longer and hurts a lot more. That isn't all bad.
I'm finding accepting such limitations difficult Mr sourland. I used to be a seriously strong man.:barnie

I will not go gracefully. I am fighting the aging process to the very end. Mom used to say, "There is nothing wrong with getting old, but acting old is a sin."
Research supports you on that! Moving in old age is a good thing...as long as you do not fall and break bones

Sitting here at the vet clinic with my sick rooster.:( I thought he wasn't gonna make it through last night, but he was up and hungry this morning. Scary how fast they can go downhill, and drop weight! I posted on the emergency thread yesterday if you want to read it. Wish me luck.:fl
Good luck.
