WARNING RANT BELOW, precede with caution!!

we are getting heavy wet snow now. Why- I ordered online tickets for End Game.No tickets showed up on email. I spent nearly an hour on the phone waiting to talk to someone. I explained to chat person - she said order was cancelled. (I had reserved two seats) She said payment was on my (gift)card. Big deal.

Told my brother LAST WEEK we could stop in at AMC and I'd buy the tickets. We were right near it at Menards. He said no because maybe we couldn't get in(bad weather.).Obviously he jinxed the whole deal. I even had gift card for us to eat at one of his favorite restaurants.:duc.

He said we could go next week. LIKE there will be any available tickets then. I know this rant should be in the movie thread but almost no one participates in that.(my thread)

Disney has planned to have this movie beat all attendance records & $$$.This will be going on for quite some time. I am an avid movie goer, at AMC since ours opened many years ago. I know from experience if you don't see it when it first opens, they take out some really good scene.

Like in "Wonder Woman," we saw it opening weekend, it was great, had one key scene that everyone was talking about. Saw it again a week later when my son came to visit. Guess which scene had been excised from the movie?
I am sorry to hear this!

I hope you can get there before the spoilers get to you

Hello? Anybody in there??

I guess Mogwai is feeling herself again. That stove has a fire in it!

I love this picture! What a great stove too.
She's never done that before. When we first got the stove (which I too LOVE) we were afraid she'd jump on top of it when it was really hot but she never has. She's smart.
Well, not so smart she hasn't singed the hairs on the tip of her tail by having it too close to the window when it's roaring. Nothing quite like the aroma of singed cat hair.

Good afternoon cafe. Likely evening for most of you. I made some coffee if anyone needs it.

I had my granddaughter today as my son had to work for a bit. His girlfriend just lost her mother to cancer, I feel so bad for her. She's young, not even 30. I'm going to hug my mom extra long when I see her tomorrow. I can't imagine.

It's been busy around here, but the chicks are so darn cute I find myself running late because I'm watching them play.

We may have FINALLY found a way to thwart the wild pigeons when it comes to food :yesss:We put this feeder up on a piece of brick, it was just a touch too short resting on the ground, but with the lid on it they can't hop up there due to low clearance.

Congratulations Room on your position in the contest. Genuine idea with the basket.

Thanks Pert! I really enjoyed doing it. I'm kind of a 'maroon' when it comes to braiding, but eating that big egg in the middle made it all worth it.

Sorry to hear that IM, that is awful!!

I am sure I will be late to everything in a few days too!! My chicks hatch Monday so they should be here Tuesday or Wednesday! Got the brooder finally almost fully set up and ready! Just need to add the heat source (make the MHP) and the feeders and waterers. Those are obviously the most important but so was actually making the brooder space. It’s a tad bit small but there’s only 5 of them so I figure it will be fine at least for a couple weeks! I want to move them out to the run when they’re big enough anyway but we need to expand the run first. Plus they’re so little I’m nervous to have them outside outside lol but we sectioned off the coop. Just like the front quarter of it. About 2x4. The coop is 4x8 and it’s not quite half of it. Didn’t want to take THAT much room from the girls ha but we just fully cleaned the coop out (it was DEEP) and stapled up some plastic fencing. And on the big girls side I opted for pine pellets instead of shavings this time mostly because we had 2 bags I bought and never used a while ago. Figure it will keep it cleaner. Was gonna use it for the littles but decided it was better on the bigs side. And I did put a little bit of shavings along the fence line just because it wasn’t quite enough for 3/4 of the coop, was perfect for half, but I wanted them to have more room. So I spreaded them thinner and added a bit of shavings. And of course added shavings to the nest boxes. But nowhere near as deep as before cause last time I had it like over a foot deep and that was just way too much and I constantly lost eggs or found broken ones haha and then on the littles side is shavings. Well, pine flakes. I bought the TSC kind this time instead of our local store and I don’t really like them as much, they’re big flakes and not very soft, but I figure it’s fine. The bigs probably won’t like it either for egg laying but tough lol I almost got the fine one but it looked too fine/small and plus my other shavings were pretty dusty so I kind of purposely wanted the bigger flakes. They can just deal. The girls were also mad one of their roosts is no longer existent but there are plenty of other roosts lol
