Perhaps just 2 eggs ?
NO!
When she can pay for the coop extensions she can sit whenever her damn hormones like.:p
I'll let her sit for a couple of days to switch her egg laying cycle off and she can have a rest and put on a bit of weight while she's 'off'.

Good morning Cafe.
Thanks for posting that article, @Shadrach. I enjoyed it. I, too, couldn't access it on the link you provided.
@Mtn Margie, I don't know how you deal with snow this late in the year. I couldn't take it. You, too, @N F C!
Seems we can't get a break from the constant rain here. I got the lawn tractor stuck in the mud yet again yesterday as I was racing around the property trying to get the grass cut before another storm unloaded. My lawn literally has algae growing in the ponds that won't dry up.
I finally broke down and took Fuji in for that surgery I talked about last winter. I had changed my mind the day of her surgery the last time it was scheduled. I didn't today.
She's been admitted. I found a second small MCT on her chest wall in addition to the one at her tail base. I had the Dr. order a vial of Vetalog to inject in both tumor excision sites to hopefully prevent recurrence. We are now up to 6 MCTs removed from this little dog over the last 6.5 years. So I'll be on pins and needles the rest of the day worrying about her.
Hey girlie, just wanted to send prayers for health and healing for your girl. MCTs are not metastatic to major organs, that's the real upside. I think the Vetalog is a good idea to mediate local reoccurrence.

Edited due to your last post. Sorry I had not read that far...but still sending those prayers!

Thanks, Becca!
Cornell cannot see her until August. We really need more canine cardiologists in this area.
So on the good news front, the Dr. took several needle aspirates around the larger mass at her tail base and can't see anything but fat cells so that is a lipoma. Yay!
The tiny one on her chest is a MCT. He injected it with the Vetalog. I asked if we could continue to inject it periodically until it could be removed and he liked that idea.
Hopefully, her cardiac workup will show that the pimobendan/benazepril combo will help her heart the way it helped all my Dobies with DCM and Skittles. :fl

Well at least the big mass is just a fatty tumor! Hopefully the cardiac issue is managed, and you know what to expect anyway!

The chicks are already 3 weeks old today and they are getting so big! :hit

And yes I know I need to clean the brooder lol they also keep kicking all the shavings out the front door :barnie

Gonna add more a bit later today. But it’s too hot to clean the coop right now. It’s like 80+ degrees today.

Gonna get some good pictures later though but just snapped these for now while I changed the water ha

I think it’s uploading them out of order but oh well.

We had a little shower while I was out planting. Cooled it down below 80° , hooray!

That’s good! I think we are supposed to get rain later. Weren’t originally but now says thunder and rain. But not until later like 7 or 8 I think. But it is a little bit cloudy here now instead of straight sun so it is cooling it down a little bit. Not a ton but between that and the breeze it feels pretty nice. Still mostly sunny too but not blaring anymore.

My day :

One dog trained.
Front lawn mowed.
Ball game postponed until tomorrow .
Another dog trained.
Geraniums and tomatoes planted.
Coffee brewed - have at it.
Dirty, sweaty, smelly and need a shower.

Applebee's is beckoning. Ain't cooking tonight.
