On a brighter side, Meaty is doing surprisingly well post-op. I hope I'm not cursing it by saying something. He's refusing to take his pain meds (which is weird because I've never seen him turn down cream cheese) but he's not really acting like he needs them either. We're still being ultra low key & trying to let him sleep it all off.
Pugs & sleeping is not much of a stretch, but our last pug went insane on the meds. He was seeing pink elephants & he chased those suckers for 3 nights straight. I am SO relieved Meaty's not going thru that.

Ben has his BFF, Shadow, over for the long weekend.
At one point this morning I had Shadow standing on the couch while Ben had his front feet on the couch, back feet on the floor play bowing Shadow. All the while Skittles is watching them and shaking like a Polaroid picture because he knows they are too big to get in on the act with but he really wants to anyway. Then Fuji jumps straight into the mayhem playing the Fun Police biting at the necks of both of the big boys. The cat slept through it all.
