Good morning, Cafe.
Shad, I sincerely hope you find a nest with a naughty Nolia on it.
Cap, she like people more than dogs? It sounds like you've got a Doberman trapped in the body of a Papillion!! What is her name?
Sean, pictures of baby pheasants please!![]()
Ooohhh ok, just kidding...hold my beer be right back! Can you get some just hatched photos for us?
Not as well as I'd hoped.Hey Tonya
How's the coop/run coming along?
Not as well as I'd hope.
TBH, I'm struggling with poor weather, lousy soil and motivation.
Dave just gets worse and worse. Every day there is something else he isn't doing or can't do. He still functions fine, I just have to take over more and more things. Alzheimer's doesn't take the person you love in big steps. It rips them away a little at a time. I'm having adjustment difficulties and feeling overwhelmed. But I'll slap myself out of it soon enough. I have high hopes for a better day today!!
On the good news front, the clinic I'd taken him to for an AD drug trial was accepted as a site for the COR388 clinical trial that I really wanted him in. I hope to have him down there within a month for testing and to start in the trial. This trial has 2 test groups and the control group so there is a better than 50/50 chance he'll get the drug. Fingers crossed for him.![]()
Thanks, Debby. You have a lot on your plate right now, feeling overwhelmed is understandable. Big changes in the health of a loved one is a huge adjustment. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed for him (and you)![]()
Take it from me Tonya, you don't want to be sliding on plywood...that's how I fell and broke my hip! Thanks, Debby.
My plate just keeps overflowing no matter how much I get done. My mother's house is still looming large in the background. That will be at least 2 1/2 months of hard work to get it finished, then I have to list it, maintain it, show it and follow up with closing on it. Come hell or high water, the roof needs to get done on my house this year and I WANT A WALKWAY into at least one of the entrances into my house!!! I am SO sick of sliding on plywood scrap pieces in mud!
