Cap, the Debby/Debbie name was very popular when I was growing up too. There were 7 of us in one of my classes. That worked well for me, I never had to answer when the teacher called on a "Debby" to talk...one of the other's would respond first

In Spanish countries, they use 2 last names. You use your father's last name, followed by your mother's maiden name. When we first moved back to the US, my drivers license had both names, and it was confusing to most, since here they put the father's name last.
