true conversation with my wife.

wife: I'm getting fat (she's 5'-6" and 130#)
me: huh, what?
wife: I'm getting fat.
me: what? how is that again?
wife: can't you see, I'm getting fat (she is almost too small for size 4 jeans)
me: sweetie you aren't getting fat and have never been fat. in fact, you're pretty dang skinny.
wife: well, I have skinny fat.
me: ummm.......what?

You see, she has problems getting the button hooked on her size four jeans and she realizes that this is the slippery slope into middle age spread.
I am spread,.ed-ed- have been spreaded, eh? fat. It happens.
Give her some slack and don't bring the potato chips home.

when you consider she has been through 7 pregnancies, 6 of them full term.

well hail, she is even more amazing.

but I know in this life, we all have things we dislike about our appearance. If it wasn't weight, it would just be something else.

Morning! You guys got the weather we had yesterday. although it was snowing, not rain and it moved through real fast.
Meteor shower tonight.....
Awesome day of wrestling for the DS$. 0/0 all 3 periods, 0/0 til the very last second of the 4th overtime when he scored a point for an escape. That was his 4th out of 5 bouts for the day and 3 of them were won by a point or two. Great experience for him.

Morning!   You guys got the weather we had yesterday. although it was snowing, not rain and it moved through real fast.

It is not moving fast here. Rained all night and now into the morning, hard. Considering not going to church. We should, missed last week too and it is Christmas. But the roads will be soupy, and they are very good at graveling our ditches here (not so good at graveling roads) I need to decide soon....

With the exciting week of driving that I have had...., stay home, be safe and count your blessings there.
I'll add that I dodged yet another car yesterday as it slid around a turn going down the mountain as we were going up and I had to pull off into a pullout so the car could finish sliding around the hairpin turn, using my lane. At least we weren't looking at high speeds this time!
