It always hurts to lose a beloved pet. I am still missing my Charlie from last winter.

Thank you. I stayed with him in the room while they did it. Very peaceful. He had a cancerous growth on his spleen.

Exactly the same thing Dani, and our last dog Livvie had. Very likely a hemangiosarcoma.

Very likely the same. He swelled in his stomach when we were their. He was ready to go. I’ve been water works off and on since then haha.

Oh that is just awful!! So sorry to you both!! I am assuming there is nothing they can do for those??

I've lost many amazing dogs and they leave a permanent hole in your heart that takes a while to scar over so you can remember them without crying. You have my deepest sympathies.

That is always another hard obstacle to overcome; the dog left behind that doesn't understand where Rokki went and why he's not coming back.
One of my Dobermans, the black boy in my avvy, died at home. The red girl in my avvy and he were the best of friends. I brought her into the room to show her his body so she would understand why he wasn't coming back. She still acted off for over a month after he passed.
