We are coming into a heat wave for our area so working outside is going to be miserable.

DS$ is not wrestling today, but he did better than what he thought he was going to do. The first guy he lost to is in the quarterfinals though.
We are digging holes and setting posts today up at the stables. At least we have a backhoe to drill the holes. We also got some good rains last night so weeding is a priority for the gardens.
Enjoy the day and stay safe in the weird weather.

We're getting a bit of rain here right now. Maybe with what you got, the post holes will be easier to dig? Glad to hear your DS$ is doing well Margie!

He really can be a butthead! He can't catch Lucy though! She's too fast. He pulls that crap nearly every morning.
I learned my lesson the hard way about not drinking enough. Now I always have a thermos of ice water with me. I typically drink about 1.5 to 2 quarts when I'm working in this weather.

Welcome to my world! 90s, no real rain for at least 3 weeks. On top of it I have been sick. I need less animals or more help.

Good for Lucy! Nothing like playing hard to get to keep the guy interested

I drink a lot of water too, especially when I'm working in that broiling hot kitchen at work. Definitely helps!

Shad, your visit to Mohammed's sounds nice...some interesting birds, good food and only 1 gaffe When are the chicks due to hatch?

I'm not quite sure Debby. I did write the hatch day down on a piece of paper and left it by the keyboard. You know what it's like with those bits of paper, I think the paper eating gremlin got it.
They hatch when they hatch if they hatch. I can't really miss it given where the nest is.
