BYC Café

One of the first calls he had me on speaker, and I did not know it.
I asked very rapidly if he was drinking his milk, wearing his retainer, and brushing his teeth.. "and what else to I usually nag you about?"
There were room mates listening... and the howls of laughter that that poor kid got.
I felt terrible.
He just laughed and said, ''I am making my bed too!''

Hi guys, thanks for the kind words all round - Bit late for doughnuts but have to tell you they have opened a 'Krispy Creme" shop here think it belongs to you guys but hell they are delicious and we pigged out as a family there were flavours we had never heard of but we do live in the dark continent -

You seem to have everything in the US I have been looking for Star Wars pressies for my son - Yes I know he is old - but always a fan - nothing here - can't wait to see the movie all booked up.

Love the ducklings - must get some - can they go with chooks? we have a pond with Koi - big ones - maybe a few meals??? we have a drought here no water - my garden is dying so sad - thinking of a borehole bit expensive.

'take a leak before wrapping up' so true especially when there is no warning.. old age! went thru it in UK - now I am watering my plants - poor old Basil doesn't live here anymore ...must be the vino!! but DH watering the roses and they are blooming maybe its the insulin!!!

My chooks have grown so much and Henry has turned into a vicious Roo - he attacks DH every morning. So far he has not gone for me do you think he missed me? had a cuddle with him, but he was not impressed...Mini Molly is not mini anymore and quite a pretty little bird now

Have to work how to upload photos now my 'pute was compromised in UK will get DS on it tmrw

The crazy rain left off and turned to just brrrr cold. Now the cold is supposed to be leaving and turning rain again! Crazy Washington weather! Hardly ever snows at sea level. Always warms up to the 40's with clouds.
Right. Clearly I spoke too soon.

Those of us that live in Washington like to complain about the rain...it keeps too many people from moving here! LOL I think it's the mildest place you could live! I've lived in Maryland, North Carolina and California. No one carries an umbrella here, mostly because it's never really a downpour, more of a drizzle....constant drizzle....okay, it drizzles a lot!

Oh I love the rain, so it has never been a deterrent. In her defense the one that complains the most is from Cambodia. So I think it is the extreme change that affects her more then anything. :)

My son lives in WASH. and says thunderstorms are very rare - usually just plain rains and yes, usually drizzle even if all day long, and gray out.

No thunderstorms and that makes me sad! I love a good thunderstorm! When we were in North Carolina we used to pop popcorn and sit out on the back (covered) deck to watch them! I do like the lack of major storms like hurricanes and tornados! We might get a little earthquake now and again though.
