My doctor appointment went well, thank G-D. I've been seeing him (urologist) for 19 years.Have had microscopic blood in urine all that time.Think I have had every test known over the years. He suspected bladder cancer. My BF at the time thought I was just looking for sympathy - what a pickle!! he was.

A few years after me - my older sister had/has the same problem.

Came to pick up some fake eggs and Tractor Supply has baby chicks.

RIR and Red Rangers, both straight run. Almost wonder if I shouldn’t just pick her up some chicks haha

Gotta make sure she’s serious first though.

The Orpington was in the run this morning so idk what she’s doing.

@KDOGG331 in my experience there has been a high rate of failure to foster chicks unless a hen has been setting for at least two weeks. Some experienced mothers will accept earlier than that, but many will not.

Thanks, that’s helpful. I was actually thinking of maybe letting her sit for a while then getting her some? Because I think I had read similar about them needing to sit for about the time it would take to hatch so wouldn’t get these ones but more wondering if it would be a better idea I guess? It made me think of the possibility of chicks instead of eggs. But of course I don’t know if Tractor Supply would have chicks in a couple of weeks. I guess I’ll have to see. Idk. Do you think it would be best to give her some real eggs or to wait and let her adopt some chicks?
