Mornin', y'all.

We got rumbled at much of yesterday afternoon, but the weather makers all stayed to the north of us. Though we could use more rain, I was actually relieved; especially after seeing this in the news this morning:

Oh wow! Scary but kind of cool.

I just opened the curtains to check the weather and saw this... someone had some bad luck.



I can only assume maybe a tree fell on it last night? But the truck wasn’t there last night unless it came after 9:30 so I’m not sure.

Looks to me like someone tried to drive under something that was lower than his truck is tall.

Could be!! I’m sure that’s probably what it is but then I’m not sure cause there’s a leaf on the top of you look close haha so I don’t know. But the cop seems nice and is checking the truck out and everything for him from what I can tell. Even went underneath it and looked all under there. The driver appears to be a kid though so probably did go under something too low or something.

Hoping for fair weather for everyone today!

My oldest fur baby goes to the beauty parlor this morning, then I drive across the valley for my hatching eggs I also have an appointment with my doc for migraines this afternoon and possibly going for a haircut after Igor gets home from the salt mines. I think we're having pizza for dinner tonight.

Thanks for the fresh pot IM. It sounds like you've got a busy day ahead of you.
Barb's littles are practicing perching. She and all 3 of them had flown up to this perch and they were too cute! And me without my phone. This one was all that was left when I dashed back with it.

Mom is having a difficult time pulling off a convincing turkey impersonation with only two tail feathers. They are all starting their molts. She also has too many legs to be a good turkey doppelganger.
