Well today is actually shaping up to be a great day after all.

I had to come home for lunch to take care of the animals and found that Seneca has given me her very first egg!

The pale blue egg (hard to see with this lighting) below hers is from Amelia who hasn't laid in about 3 weeks due to her molt.

And, drum roll please, it appears I will be made an offer at the company headquarters afterall working in SureScan which is where I wanted to go in the first place!!

What a relief not having to wonder what I am going to do when unenjoyment runs out.

Hey, @igorsMistress , did I miss pictures of the babes?? Are they all out yet?

All hatched yes.

There's one that's still questionable in the incubator. I'm going to give it some vitamins and see if that helps.

The last hatchling moved to the brooder. Giving it sips of vitamins as I can but it's standing up and was able to get out from under the heat plate and back under. It seems happier it's not alone.

I have 4 chicks hatched now, only 2 last night. Need to clean out one of the brooders and put the quail outside. First chicks I have hatched in quite a while.
