Good morning, Café, and thanks for the coffee. 94F yesterday 54F now . Had a couple of downpours last night not certain about accumulation. It's 'supposed' to remain intermittently all day. @DobieLover - look over your shoulder - we're all there.

Membrane attached to the egg? Looks more to me like the egg's parachute didn't deploy. Hope it had a safe landing.

Tonight when I went out to lock up the coop I tripped on something and sent it flying. I shined the flashlight down and saw about the biggest toad I've ever seen up against a wood block near the netting. It was a monster.
I'm really glad I just punted it instead of stepped on it.

toads are great to have in the yard!

The camera was in the house when I did lock up and punted the gargantuan toad.
The egg came in the house with me and was truly strange. But the dogs still thought it was tasty.

I read that too fast & had to read it again to see the dogs were eating the egg & not the toad.

It's imminent. The lamination presses have shut down. That is the first process that won't be needed any longer.
We ran the very last silver plated panel through the line that it will ever run again. It's sad actually.

It did! It was intact when I took it out of the nest box instead of a burst mess.
