BYC Café

Mine were done separately as they occurred at different times. Mine were repaired with mesh but not laparoscopically .
Thanks. I hope that he does well with the mesh. I've read negative things about it. I've also read that the use of synthetic mesh has the least number of complications post-surgery.

Dobie, I just asked DH about his hernia surgery. He had the surgical incision and instead of mesh, the doc used what he called a "plug".

Guess there is more than one way of doing it.
Huh. Never heard of that one before. How long ago did he have the surgery?

So, there's a fresh pot of coffee and a platter of Almond Joy Cookie Bars if anyone is interested in an afternoon pick up (or whatever time it is for you all)...

OMG!!!
Why do you bakers have to torture me with this stuff!?

I believe it was early 2017. The same year he had his foot surgery. Between the two surgeries, the poor guy was a mess for about 6 months. (The hernia one was easy compared to the foot one.)

Not wanting to jinx myself here, but I have had no problems whatsoever. Wishing the same for your husband.
