Wake up call for the DS$.  He got charged by a Momma Moose who wanted to see what he was.  He froze and she stopped about 5 feet away and then just let him go.  He backed up and came home a bit shook-up , but not too bad.  He said that she didn't have her ears back in a mean way, (he knows horses) so she was just checking him out. 
Guess what else totally cool thing happened? ....   I met a new neighbor who just moved in a couple of weeks ago.  Do you know what she has?    Alpacas and their fleece.  Do you know what else she has......
a spinning wheel and TWO kick-A looms.  Un-frigging believable how stuff works out! 
Hot tea! 

Glad to hear all is well. I have heard moose can be deadly

Happy New Year.

I'm trying, I'm really trying, but that's all the energy I can muster at the moment. It's gray, it's wet - frankly, it looks an awful lot like the old year, except on the thermometer. That has gone down about 20 degrees since yesterday evening. Ah, well, nice while it lasted. Hello, 2016 - I'm glad to see you. I'm sure we'll have some fun together; if I ever get my eyes open . . . . .
