Good morning, Cafe.
It is a very somber atmosphere at work here in Endicott. I am literally emptying out the entire room where the gold plater will be abandoned.
I just watched a friend walk out the door in tears. She is going to Binghamton and will see a lot of the old crew there but the atmosphere is pretty bad up there.

Sounds like a sad day. Isn't Binghamton where you were offered another job Dobie? Maybe you'll work with some of your old crew?

Yes, it is and, yes, I will. But it runs very much like a Chinese fire drill. I don't even know where I'll be working exactly. I'm told SureScan but in what capacity? Will I bring my laptop, have an office?? Who knows.

Monday. Maybe this Wednesday. I'll just hunt down the engineers I know and start working with them.

Morning Sour, how was the play yesterday?

The play was good. Some of the performances were a bit 'iffy', but overall it was a very good production for that particular local theater. The director added an outstanding vocalist who sang 3 songs.

Seattle has had a few rounds with the riot police a few years ago then it seems to have settled local 3 people is crowd

I'm not pro independence, but then I'm not Catalan.
What I can't help commenting on is the demonstrations are against the Madrid Spanish Government. The demonstrations are in Barcelona and other parts of Catalonia. Barcelona in particular relies heavily on the tourist industry along with the Costa Brava (nearest beaches)
It all seems like smashing up ones own house to me.
