BYC Café

That's one nice thing about San Antonio, they party all the time. Spurs win a championship, they don't go all crazy and start looting, rioting, destroying property. Fiesta, Cinco de Mayo, Dia de los Muertas, any occasion to party and they do without all the destruction.

Mornin', y'all!:frow

That's suppose to be watch for 'Falling Rocks'....he's my long lost uncle. :lau

Your uncle must have been quite the explorer - I've seen those signs lots of places!

Margie, I love the moose in snow pics, even as I cringe at the idea of having to deal with snow already. I could respond with "deer in hurricane debris" pics (yeah, still looking at a lot of mess from last year; like Polonius, it waits 'til we get there). We had 3 bucks in the driveway a few days ago, and the young'uns are big enough to be wandering around without their mothers now. When we moved here, there were a couple of clubs that hunted with dogs in the woods behind us, but that was many years ago, and the deer are much less wary now. There's many a time they have nearly given me a heart attack by standing just off the path, then snorting (at least, I think that explosive sound is a snort!) and running off when I get close. Note to self: make a lot of noise when wandering around outside - those bucks might not just run away if startled!

Wow, Shad, nothing says, "welcome, tourists!" like police in riot gear, eh?

Wilmington loves to party, too, but at least here, most of the smashing and looting only gets done by forces of nature.

Eggs are done. Now I need to scramble to do costumes & make a delicious 'people' pot pie before Thursday. Muahahahaha! (*disclaimer no actual people in the pie... Shhhh… don't tell my kids. They'll be so disappointed.)

Fantastic Roomy!

Good morning, Cafe.
It is a very somber atmosphere at work here in Endicott. I am literally emptying out the entire room where the gold plater will be abandoned.
I just watched a friend walk out the door in tears. She is going to Binghamton and will see a lot of the old crew there but the atmosphere is pretty bad up there.
