It's only at 62%, the humidity is perfectly fineNice!
Humidity might be too high if there is condensation on the top of the incubator

I value your opinion, but these are twins that probably will need assistance with hatching. I'd like to give them a fighting chance and not just give up on them.
My hygrometer and incubator are both reading the same at 62%. I think it's based on the humidity and temp in my house as well. Thank you for your helpFor the double yolked egg, you will likely need to help. Poking the holes will make them stick faster. Safety holes is a fad in incubating and will go away as it becomes apparent that it is not a good or necessary thing to do.
Where do you see this in any University or other professional hatching guide? Someone on BYC made it up and it makes me sad to see it.
If you see condensation inside an incubator, humidity is closer to 90%. Hopefully you do not have condensation! If so and the hygrometer says 62%, It might be reading wrong.
Best wishes for your hatch!
Good morning everyone. Raining this morning, they say 3 to 4 inches before it ends!![]()
We had none all summer, now we are getting it inches at a time. Just too much. Last year we had twice the normal amount!Seems like you've had a lot of rain this year Cap (or do I say that every year?).

I'm not sure if I've seen that one. We always watched old westerns with Pa when we were kids. The Duke, perhaps?Handsome boy Meg! Your post reminded me of a movie called The Quiet Man, the main character was named Sean Thornton and was played by John Wayne.
Don't ya love that beard? So fluffyYou need to buy him a razor. He needs a shave even more then I do.![]()
Thanks, Debby, Tonya and Sour!Morning Cafe!
Meg, nice looking boy. Best of luck at the doctor's, hope they can tell you what's going on.
IM, I remember that movie...good name suggestion.
Sean, enjoy the blue skies and sunshine. That sounds lovely!
Wow, that is wild, isn't it? Did you get any answers? Migration sounds good right about now. It was -8° this morningMeg, that sounds like what caused me to go to the doctor last week. Maybe living at high altitudes and cold temps is the cause and we all need to migrate south?
