Your own stitches?? Cap, you're my hero :D

19 years of driving and the closest I've gotten to hitting a deer was a couple weeks ago. You could see where the hair brushed the mud on my bumper:thI've only ever hit one thing and that was a tweety bird. Well, aside from other vehicles:lau Or the motionless trampoline in my barn that had been there forever and ever:idunno
I like being a hero. Hubby said he didn't think he could stitch himself up.

Wow I do bow to you Shad :bowI feel good when I do not have to pin a cockerel
of a given day... Morning cafe thanks for the coffee I had my old ID that had expired so did not have to prove the white haired old lady is me.. I have taped or superglued myself together Cap but bet I would stop at sewing unless I had the catgut to do it.
I had the actual medical needle with suture material attached, and forceps to grip it with.

I most certainly couldn't. If I had a cut that needed stitches, I'm fairly certain I'd be unconscious
Oh, it was a small cut compared to the time I fell off my bike and landed on the axle. Bystanders called an ambulance. Someone brought out an ice cube and it fell in the hole the axle made. That hole didn't hurt, but bled all the way down into my sandals. My elbow with road rash hurt. The doctor did 2 layers of sutures, I think 40 something. I was a teenager at the time. I thought I was playing softball later that day. Wrong. I ended up on crutches.

Yup I was like 3 or 4 my half sister had me on the back of her bike somehow my foot got inside the tire spokes tore the ankle all to heck on the outside I still have the scar Grandma ran out grabbed me screaming taking back inside poured whiskey into it
think I screamed when it happened areyouchicken.gif I was pretty good at high pitched screams back then
