Good afternoon Cafe.
I've made another pot if anyone is interested.
It started off a lovely day but it's got colder now and there are rain clouds rolling over the ridge. Not too bad temperature wise though. It's a comfortable 14C atm.

Hurry and Mel's cockerel are still at it. I think it's love.

These pictures are of Mel's cockerel grooming Treacle. Ime to see this is very unusual.
To get pictures of it is very lucky. It is generally accepted that hens will groom their roosters. These two are brothers.
There are many recorded instances of primates grooming each other and it has been in the past been taken as a sign of intelligent and cooperative behaviour.
The young cockerel made a really good job of getting some of the feathers out and then had another go at separating a few that had got matted together.

Chilly morning here, 32° light breeze and not a cloud in the sky! Expected to be 73° for the high. Here's another pic of a "typical" South Texas winter sunrise!
