Those are good memories! My grandmother taught us kids how to play cards :D

Good looking soup Dobie!
I learned how to play cards too from my other grandmother. We play rummy a lot and crazy 8's.

We used to rent a camp in the summer for a week with one of my grandmothers and all of her family would come. We would collect a jar of pennies from the beginning of the year until the summer so that we could play poker

I had a very blessed childhood. I still have a very blessed life. My family is pretty close still even though we are separated by distance now.

I'll never leave far from my parents. It's my duty to watch after them :D

@drumstick diva Christmas is my favorite holiday :celebrateim busting at the seams anxiously waiting for Christmas Eve and Christmas day! My brother flies in every Christmas and on Christmas Eve my whole family goes to the movies to watch the new Star Wars... Last year we had to watch the new Grinch because there wasn't a Star Wars out.

Families sure do get spread far & wide any more. What a nice tradition to have and enjoy with your family FC!

Good morning, Café. Today I am taking three dogs to the free rabies clinic - that's always a treat.
Oh... no... I remember being desperate to get Ben a shot one year because his 3-yr was going to expire in two days and it was the weekend so I went to a clinic near where I lived at the time. It was a rural site but not too far from the city. There were so many ill-mannered LARGE dogs there and the owners were utterly clueless to their own and other dogs body language. A fight was just itching to break out. Some of the dogs were looking at Fuji like she was a snack on a leash.

I'll go towards the end of the clinic and ask if they will vaccinate on the tailgate of my truck.

Good morning, Cafe.
I'm relieved to see that one of the girls who was hiding in a nest box at lock up last night is bouncing around this morning seemingly without a care in the world. I've had sneezing in my flock for about a year now. No other symptoms.
I've been working on minimizing dust. An uphill battle in a chicken coop for sure.
This little girl, Remington (the toe biter if you remember from her chick days), sounded a bit weazy and was stretching out her neck and shaking her head. That is more than just sneezing. I left her on the edge of the poop board and watched her on the camera for a while.
This morning, she's running around with her idol, Fabio, (there's no accounting for taste!) acting perfectly fine.
