Thanks for the hot water IM. Probably could use it for my frozen water buckets Its been 19 at night here, but last night hubs was smart and emptied all the buckets.

My chicks don't seem to mind these cold nights, but it might be because the coop is insulated. We insulated it because it's all pallets.

Apparently Highlanders have really good meat

A local ex bar owner maintains a herd of Highlanders. He used to serve the meat at the bar and now sells it from a farmstand and at local farm markets. I like the taste - slightly gamy to me.

I am going to clean the underside( a little white mold) . I will also build a brace for the underside to take the weight off the wheels, because I plan to put plate glass on top and set up my new fish tank on it. So excited to get a fish tank again!
