For the first night of Hanukkah I got Monezuma's revenge, it carried over thru Tues.
Hanukkah lasts 8 nights - oy vey!!

For Christmas so far, I've gotten a bad headache, bad stomach ache, bad lower back pain, and ribs hurt too! Think should have gotten a new mattress (present one is from the mid 70's, rather than a roomba that my son has been torturing all over the house.
He is wicked with electrical things.

Made it! Thank **** that's over. The main house is departing for other party venues in the morning.
Jordie popped up for a bit this afternoon. We captured Mag between us and got his comb sorted and his legs done. Mag is a complete fecker to catch in daylight hours and isn't past trying to dig a spur in given the chance.
Jordie and I got the flood gully cleared in the bottom field which had a couple of trees pulled down from further up the mountain blocking the water flow.
Tribe 3 has been very quiet without Gedit but Notch stepped up this evening at roost time and went into his hens coop tonight. No prompting, no nothing, just went in and settled.
This is me for the night. Got the tunes on.

Here is Gedit poor hen. She was just alive when I got to her but the shock was just too much.
If the people in the main house hadn't been here she would still be alive.

Merry Christmas all. We have a partially white Christmas since like @DobieLover not all the snow has melted.

I need it to stay cold enough to keep the ground frozen, but not too snow covered. I need to go out and cut some trees for next year's firewood. It was SO squishy this fall, I thought I could go up the old trail made by previous owner and just made big ruts in the mush and had to back down. I don't have chains for the tractor and don't know how I would get them on anyway. They would be really heavy for a tire the size of the rears on the tractor.
