DS$ is back to school and I am not sure what the day will bring except a very quick chore run to feed the critters.

Update on Baby Groot... He's shedding so that means he's growing, which means he's thriving!

He's been eating great lately and he loves to be held.

If he had horns he would look like a horny toad, which I understand is trying to make a comeback in my area. They used to be common here but you rarely see them anymore.

He's looking good FC!

He is quite striking ya know... We did finally get a tiny respite of the rain to close the coops tonight but suppose to be in rain like next 4 days

His colors sure are neat. He kind of reminds me of a gnome with his beard.
That's a lot of raining going on there! How did the chicken turn out?

He's a beauty!

Really hoping he doesn't turn out like Cheap Shot...I feel like he's been giving me the hairy eyeball lately, but I may just be paranoid

Do they like him?

They do seem to. He's pretty calm and easy on the hens. Doesn't make a lot of ruckus. He moved out of the barn and is bouncing back and forth between the new and old coops. There are three roosters and him.

Good morning Cafe!

Coffee is brewed. Cold 41°F, 10mph breeze, clear skies. Suppose to be near 80°F this afternoon, was 76°F yesterday!

Everyone make it a great day!

80° sounds lovely! We had freezing rain overnight, so it was pretty slippery this morning. Even at 38°!
