I've seen them. Even won one once! But I don't think it's something you submit a photo for. "They" just randomly pick them.
I'm trying to find that particular thread for you, but I can't seem to. Maybe @N F C knows where it's placed. You submit photos to the thread and Sumi uses them for caption contests.

I've been too afraid to put this one outside! I know I should in the summer, but I'd hate to kill it. Err... Again. My brother and nephew gave it to me a few years ago for my birthday and ive always kept it inside. I thought it was dead once, but it miraculously came back to life! (Water anyone??)

I thought maybe she was due for a bigger pot and some better soil. Did you have to bring yours in for the winter or were they perennial there?

No I didn't bring them inside, my plants were kept in the ground all year around. They would kind of die down at the end of the year and then shoot up a lot of new growth once the ground & weather warmed up.

Here's an article that might help you out:

Sorry, had to go to town for a quick trip. Looks like @FortCluck found the thread ok :thumbsup

Beautiful day to be outside here in NJ. Pushed this body to just about its limits. Fresh pot has been brewed as coffee was needed - have at it in good spirit.

I get sick to my stomche but do not throw up anytime I eat McDonald's food. That does not happen when I eat In and out food

Burger King burgers kill my gut - haven't eaten there in 30 years.

Unfortunately, they will here too unless you overwinter them inside. Which is great, unless you forget! I tend to do that...

Many of the commercially available varieties are either non hardy or minimally hardy. There are hardy varieties that can handle very cold weather. Generally they tend to be small flowered varieties - many of them with Japanese origins. In another lifetime I worked in an ornamental display garden. One of my projects was growing mum baskets, cascades, and espaliers for autumn display. Garden was owned by Doris Duke the tobacco heiress, and she preferred the Japanese varieties.
