Honestly, what good is that going to do? The virus can live on the glove too. It's easier to wash flesh than a glove.
if they are made of natural fibres, it might help. Apparently the virus is desiccated relatively quickly on such a surface. It's plastics and stainless steel to avoid (lives up to 9 days on them!!!) and synthetic fibres are a form of plastic. Copper's relatively good too - the virus dies within 4 hours on copper. Remember all those old cooking pans from pre-antibiotic days were made of copper ... 🤔

They are made from nitrile. It's useless wearing them.

Good morning, Cafe. Thanks for the coffee and the TP, Shad. You are a true friend.
Wet and rainy here this morning.
Mom showed her thoughtful mothering side again this year and never called me on my birthday to acknowledge my existence. I expected as much. She's always been a let down for me. But I'm the first one she calls when she wants something. :idunno

It's been pretty good here by and large. People are frightened but most as far as the media reports and from what I've seen are behaving well.
There is plenty of food about, fresh bread in the bakeries.
I have some serious concerns for the US, mainly thanks to Trump, there has been done too little done too late. As the testing expands, so to will the number of infected. For China, it was comparatively easy being a state run system. The state shut areas down very fast, enforced a curfew and build hospitals and gathered doctors and scientists together whether they wanted to do it or not. This is unlikely to happen in the US and the response will be piecemeal.
I agree the horse was out when they shut the barn door. He should have stopped international travelers coming to the US immediately. People in China are used to being told what to do. People in the US are not and they're pissed because they've been inconvenienced by the shut downs. Governors have been resistant to shut down schools and whining to the press about it. I think you're blaming Trump when he's not entirely to blame here.

Good morning, Cafe, and thanks, Shad.

Yes, trying to keep my mind off the money we are losing. About $9,000. Today.

You've got to stop doing that Cap. :hugs It will drive you crazy. Value will come back - hopefully we have enough time. Princess says, "It's the kids' inheritance." Well, I planned on spending it.

@igorsMistress local states and governors have been proactive in enacting limitation of control measures. Individual people not so proactive. As it is becoming more evident that the elderly and infirm are not the only ones in danger, maybe folks will wise up. Here in our county 1 case Monday, and 6 as of yesterday. Today's numbers not yet listed.
