In Florida this was as a result of local ordinances. At a press meeting today Desantis declared, "I don't think government has the authority to close churches, and I'm certainly not going to do that." Effectively over riding local legislations. I'm not certain what the situation is in Louisiana.

What can I say "it's just Florida".

Getting them to those who need them is becoming more of an issue.

I know the feeling. I placed an ad yesterday for free eggs if you've lost your income. Not one call or text.
Just replies for the girls I'm looking to rehome. And I won't sell to one of them because they don't meet my standards of care.

There's a little more information on the furniture store that was cited for violating the shelter at home business. Seems that while furniture isn't considered "essential," appliances are, so, since the store sells both, he is allowed to have his doors open, but, since he hadn't cordoned/roped off the furniture or rearranged the entire showroom to put the appliances near the door (yet), he was written a citation.

Good morning, cafe! Beautiful day here, as well. Blue skies, sunshine...supposed to be up to 62°f (17°c) next week.

That numb nuts Desantis doesn't some to be willing to take responsibility for anything. Hopefully he's up for reelection and gets a wake up call when no one votes for him.

God will turn off our virus receptors, ay? We had a rattle snake guy here many years ago that was bitten and convinced he'd be healed. He died from his injury...although, I guess it depends on your definition of being "saved".
