I love Iris.

I should plant a garden of them. I have all these areas up here that stay bog like and I love irises!

I love Iris. One year we got a selection from Shreiners(name like that)Iris in another state. They arrived in gorgeous shape and bloomed the first year. I probably didn't care for them properly going into winter - none came back. Looked like orchids.

Also had mini iris purple and also yellow. They bloomed great. Next year only the yellow ones returned. Something ate all the purple ones - maybe they tasted like grapes ???

Bah humbug on Spring! We had snow flurries all day so Na NA!
Dh and I went down to the ranch and cut up a tree that had busted in the last heavy snow.
Fun work but now we have tired backs and I guess we will sleep well.

Ah darn we have wood brought we pay 150 a cord use about 4 a year
but better than a 600 electric bill for 2 months
