What will you plant in them?

More veggies. Today I planted beans in 2 raised beds in the original garden. I have more tomatoes and cukes to plant. Lots more seeds I haven't even opened.

That was his idea! I love it. The other ones I have are about 12" above the dirt level, and they are fenced with chicken wire to keep the chickens out of my plants. So I have to lean over to plant, weed or pick. I have a third bed that hubby built, just need to paint it. And of course, install the wire mesh over the bottom.

I think many of us have different pain some the same it is gardens we build to help
The chickens we have the choices of them .. We all have our problems but darnit I refuse to lay down and die

I have to get busy while the weather is relatively cool. Going to be a hot summer I think.

Saturday coming home to my neighbor - there was an honest to goodness rooster standing right by the street. Thought I was hallucinating because it was a very hotsy totsy neighborhood. I wanted my brother to go back - of course he wouldn't. I thought maybe I could pick him up without getting permanently damaged and then call animal control for someone to rescue him.

My brother is NOT an animal lover. Hope someone hadn't dumped him out.
