BYC Café

Good morning, Cafe. Thanks for the coffee.
It rained all day yesterday. I put the dogs out before bed last night and Bella came in with big fat snow flakes on her back! What kind of a sick joke is that? And we're supposed to get snow again tonight. It's supposed to warm up towards the end of the week when the chicks are due to hatch, so there's that at least.

Morning! We have a week of fantastic weather in store, I am so happy that the nighttime temps will be above freezing!
Thanks for the coffee, Shad. DS$ has strength and conditioning training 3 times a week, starting today. Safe guidelines and all that, but it is at least something.
Have a beautiful day you all!

Mogwai once walked across the laptop and stepped on some mysterious combination of keys that made the image on the monitor rotate 90 degrees. It took me about 30 minutes to fix it.

:gigBeen there! our dog has done things to our tv that we've never seen before and have no idea what he pressed on the remote to cause them. The tv may be smart, but the instructions that come with it aren't...
Which just goes to show that our pets are more technology savvy than we are!

The man in the oval office is in desperate need of a filter, both for "in" and "out."
And maybe a little "smell test" processing of the data before spewing it back out. Especially at a news conference which is supposed to inform the population of some facts.

Are you serious? THIS is the crap I miss by not watching TV?
I guess you don't listen to the radio either? No TV here but I listen to NPR.

as will a good rooster so hopefully the guy running that flock will accept her and help her into the flock too.
I've heard that a rooster will keep the girls in line. I'm sure they still get to work on their pecking order but maybe with less violence.

My garden today.
Our daffodils are blooming, iris leaves are coming up. Will be some time before they flower.

We live in Washington state not NY
My GUESS is that Penny is getting pine and cedar, Tonya oak and maple. IF true, $170/cord is a better "per BTU" price.

How do you get Blukote off your fingers?
Time?

Coffee is good! will have tea with dinner though.

I am finishing up on paperwork from purchasing emergency instruction equipment here. It is harder to do this from home LOL!

good afternoon Cafe; thanks for the coffee Shad.
The fine weather is coming to an end here, sadly. Clouds rolling in, and an unsettled week ahead. Still, the garden needs a good soaking, and all will perk up again quickly once it's passed through.
I had to start running the sprinklers yesterday and fixe one of them. We will not have any rain until October so we have to irrigate here

Here in the Central Valley we get Oak and sometimes walnut if an orchard is being removed from production. I like both but walnut burns very nicely

Will he be training with others? There is an aerosol effect from Covid apparently that sprays the droplets quite far and then they hang in the air. Lout talking and singing are bad for this. I would imagine exercising is too
