BYC Café

The young man I gave Knocks three chicks to came by today. He brought me a jar of pear compot, 2 types of locally made goats cheese and a loaf of olive bread. I gave him 18 eggs in exchange. I'm going up to his place tomorrow to see how the chicks are getting on. Apparently they've found a good tree!:D They did come down for supper though.

That's great! Looks really tasty too.

Good morning Cafe.
Coffee is made. Tea bags and kettle on the counter. Goats cheese and olive bread for breakfast if anyones interested. Good strong flavoured goats cheese I might add. Sometimes especially some of the supermarket stuff, it tastes a bit weak and watery.
Blue skies and sunshine here with a bit of high cloud.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for breakfast, Shad. I'll partake in some olive bread and goat cheese!
I've opened the sliding door to the maternity ward. It's a bit below freezing this morning so the kids are sticking close to mom in there.
Auntie Astrid was the first to visit. She was also the first to visit Barb's kids. Mom hasn't made a move to take the kids out yet though. Maybe when it's warmed up a bit more. The sun is shining bright so hopefully not too long.

My hair dresser, Amy, came over to cut our hair outside in the glorious sun. I took her in to see the chicks. Mom still hasn't taken them out of the ward.
Fabio sauntered over and I could tell Amy was a little intimidated by him so I picked him up and let her pet him. Captain came over and started acting like a tough guy because I had Fabio. So I put Fabio down away from Cap. About 5 minutes later they started to fight. First time I've ever seen Cap flare his hackles like that at Fabio and try to spar with him. He was badly outmatched by Fabio who developed quite a lot of skill going after me. I broke them up after about a minute of nonsense before anyone got hurt.
Fabio has continued to relentlessly chase Cap off for the last hour.
