BYC Café

BTW penny my sister far away, told me to rip out the wallpaper in the hallway & kitchen I did just as she said and it ruined the drywall (I think they call it) I think it just adds to the charm of this poor home. My brother sez no one will ever buy it, so I feel a kinship with the house. We have each other from day 1.
Get your son to come fix the walls!

One more thing and I'll quit. My brother was checking out at the grocery store, they have aisles where you do it yourself. He got mad that the register didn't deduct the sale prices on several items. So he was smacking the machine around until a worker came over and saved it.
She said the machine doesn't give the true total minus cpns./ sales. UNTIL you scan in every item you are buying instead of just the sale stuff.

I have never beaten a machine in my life, I admit I have cussed a blue streak in my younger days(defective candy machines). Then I figured the machine was just doing the best it could - just like me. No more temper. Easy peasy. Some men just rush to fury over the smallest thing- think they were babied too much as youngsters.

We weren't allowed to get my brother angry because he had diabetes, he used to pull the meat cleaver out of the kitchen drawer and chase my sister & I. We used to push furniture against the bedroom door. My mother always said she was going to have a heart attack - nah, she never did.

She died at 77 when her breast cancer came back and had spread. She had refused the treatment they advised her to take, radiation and or/ chemo. Refused the morphine for pain because she was afraid she'd become an addict.

Good morning, Cafe. Coffee is on and hot water for tea is ready.
Back to the grind today.
While wood filling cabinet box defects yesterday I realized I needed to swizzle another pair of cabinets for my over the range microwave to look right. I put up a ledge board and took all the wall screws and stile screws out of the cabinet I needed to move and it still wouldn't drop. I discovered a broken stile screw holding the cabinet to it's neighbor. :wee Oh the joys of home remodeling... I'll have to bring a hacksaw blade with me the next time I work on mom's house. It's a good thing I'm painting the cabinets.

It is one thing to talk to them, entirely another to slap them around!!

My mother is oblivious to all these little things I do to save her money.
You COULD let her know when it is all said and done.

They are hoping a developer will want it.
Very sad. Put houses on everything that doesn't already have them.
