My Grandma and Grandpa used to throw stuff from what I was told.

I've seen one of mine running off with one (and being chased by others); I don't know if it was a grass snake, slow worm, or adder, which are the only options here.

Coffee is made. Tea bags, milk and sugar are on the counter. UHT milk today in case you're fussy.
It's got off to a very warm start here. Already to hot to want to be doing much in the sun.
Chickens are already under their favorite shade bushes and that Mediterranean heat quiet has spread across the valley.
Seem to have a working Internet again.

Good morning, Cafe. Thanks for the coffee, Shad, and sorry to read about the heat wave. I started sweating just thinking about it.
I'm having a heck of a time getting my unemployment claim submitted for the work share. And because so many people are on unemployment, I don't even get put in a que to wait for someone to talk to. I just get a recorded message stating to 'try your call later' and they disconnect. Like I have time AT WORK to be calling them all day. And I certainly am not doing it when I'm not at work as I'm even busier outside of work.

Sorry to hear about your trials and tribulations with bureaucracy DL; it's infuriating when that happens. Our govt depts are famous for it too.
