BYC Café

Forgot about that Cap. I thought he had a neighbor that fed George but, maybe that was a hundred years ago.

Didn't get my groceries AGAIN this week because bus dispatcher said I wasn't on the list. I called Wed. at 8 am when they open to be on the list and was told OK. You are supposed to call the day before. Like that does me any good.

Grocery delivery?

Cap congratulations, looks like you're next to become groomed as a "Native American." I wondered who it would be. The flute music is fantastic. I listen to it every chance I get. I suggest you sign up for pow wows.com to get frequent emails re: Native American concerns. I love it.

The more I dig into Native culture, the more I realize I would have been much better adjusted and protected than I was living in a big city American life.

good try ron. One of our bus ladies the oldest (93) gets her groceries delivered. She said they NEVER send her what is on her list - it's more like, whatever they have they want to get rid of. Knowing that grocery store I'm sure she is telling the absolute truth. Her grandson pays for it, he didn't want her out in public with covid hanging around behind every bush.

My son wanted to do that for me too but, I'm a picky eater/buyer and I want to see what's out there. I'm also a very tactile person, touch and feel determines most of what I buy(especially clothes).

BTW some months ago I Googled "Jay Silverheels," who play Tonto on "The Lone Ranger," tv show a hundred or so years ago. Found out just the basics - feh!.

I just you.tubed him and found a plethora of info about him. What a major difference! He was exceptional in every field that interested him., and helped other natives get tv and movie roles.

Never cared for the Lone Ranger himself - what kind of man has to hide behind a mask? My father controlled the TV and we watched what he wanted or nothing at all.

A lot of people like Grocery delivery here. The stores must do a better job here though
