Before moving the cabinets and electric boxes. You can see how close those boxes are to each other under the 30"x30" cabinet.

After the cabinet and electric swizzle. I also farted around with the under cabinet lights a little.

I got the blasted wallpaper border off.

There are boards that run horizontal on the exterior walls at 8' all around the house. In this room there was a weird, dark, granular substance on top of the board. The area where the wall and ceiling meet was very poorly patched after the house settled and a crack opened up. I broke into the patch removing the border.

And it rained down ants on me.
I blasted away with some Home Defense and slaughtered them. After cleaning up the mess, I caulked the top of that board to seal it. The little ant corpses kept raining down into my caulk joint!
This is about the sixth batch I cleaned off.

I zipped up to dad's house for the bucket of mud only to find that it was practically empty. But still had just enough to patch the gap to keep any further ants from falling out.

I managed to get all the cabinet doors, drawer fronts and boxes sanded and vacuumed.

It was a long day!

Good morning Cafe.
Coffee is made and yes Perris, it's still the cheaper stuff.
Tea bags, milk and sugar are on the counter. I spose I better fez up to the UHT milk and the raw cane sugar.
Anyway, if you take your coffee black none of the above should matter.
It's hot here; 30 something or other. Have to be careful not to fall down the cracks in the ground. Still, looking on the bright side, it's far to hot to be doing any of that gardening business so that's that sorted with no prevarication involved. Win win as they say.
Guess I'll spend some time with Tribe 2 and 3.

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee, Shad. I can't drink mine black. I just don't like it that way.
It starting raining just as I was finishing up morning chores. The dogs didn't get a run yesterday because I was down at mom's house until 9 at night. I'll have to see if I can get them out this afternoon instead. Miss Bella does not do well without blasting off some of that excess energy of hers. But she also hates the heat so going later in the day becomes problematic.
