Good evening, Cafe! Regular and decaf on if anyone is interested.
Our governor ordered a statewide mandate that everyone has to wear masks in indoor public places, due to the uptick in covid cases. I know our numbers are not like most of yours, but it's a bizarre way of life anymore. Because of my solitary nature this doesn't affect me as much as some. I really do feel for those extroverted types. I feel more sorry for the working stiffs who are forced to enforce these rules.
I went to the gas station after work and held the door for an older fella sans mask. The gal behind the register repeated 3 times "sir, you need a mask" before he said he was getting the mail (USPS employee). So, what do you do and what do they do? Who follows what order and how are they supposed to deal with it? If someone unstable comes in it could be dangerous, right? Or if the employee is unstable? The governor stops short of getting law enforcement involved in any way. They don't appear to want to take responsibility for any sort of fall out.
Anywho... Blah, blah, covid, blah blah. Hope you all are doing well
It's supposed to be 95° on Wednesday, but we don't get the humidity like you lot. Hot, dry? Bring it on! We don't have a/c at home, but it usually stays about 70°f, so I don't mind at all. The beauty (the only beauty) of not having windows on the south and east sides. And also the beauty of living in a barn.
