NO! This is my first quail hatch! I'm so excited. But I have a buyer for them all, he's coming to get them Sunday. AND he's bringing me 36 more quail eggs to incubate for him!

Hopefully I'll get to post some pics this weekend.

They pop out in waves. Couple of things to note...
You have to have marbles or such in the waterers and they have to have gamebird starter food.
They can jump like no tomorrow. Those are the main differences.

Awesome! I do need to stop for gamebird feed before the weekend, thanks for the reminder. I'll only have these for a couple of days, but eventually I'll keep some for myself.

And I did notice last night when I checked them that a few seem to be further behind the others, so the waves will make sense. I'm glad you mentioned that. I would probably have been worried.

Yea Deb, he just asked me yesterday if I'd consider selling some, and said he'd buy how ever many hatch. But I'll get plenty of pics!

Speaking of pics.... I don't think I showed this to you. This is one of the ducklings that I hatched in December. Shelly. First outing, and we set her in the pond and she wanted NOTHING to do with it! She scrambled up out of there like there was an alligator after her!

Black knee high boots and some pretty black heels. They will look good for my valentines date DH is taking me to the winery where we had our wedding reception. They are having drinks and candlelight dinner.
