4 pulled and a crown? Ugh. One was bad enough.
Not all at once, I would only let them do one side at a time so I could still eat, had to fully heal before anymore out, all work was over about 18 months.
They got it all fixed up, the 4 extractions and more than a few fillings, just before Covid.

It doesn't matter what political persuasion one has, Boyle's Law is still Boyle's law, as is the gravitational constant and thousands of other 'laws'.
This bit of the thread is going South with arguments about politics which isn't a science either despite attempts by some universities to title their courses as Political Science.:p
Historians are not scientists. They may use say Carbon Dating as a tool which is science to try to prove a point which isn't science.
It is unfortunate imo that we seem to be living in an era where science has become unpopular.
Instead, a form of subjectivism seems the current fad; I believe this to be true so therefor it is, is a brief description of that type of view. It's a return to the dark ages essentially.
It's okay on a personal basis and if people wish to beleive something then that's fine, even if they're provably wrong. It all goes horribly wrong when those beleifs are applied as truths and others are expected to subscribe.
I think we are talking at cross purposes. I agree with all you say here. But science is political in the sense that societies' winners write it, and choose the agenda/syllabus, that's why, for example, women are more likely than men to be injured in a car crash. See https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2019/feb/23/truth-world-built-for-men-car-crashes
which, although written last year, also has interesting observations on PPE for anyone working in the health sector right now. Most health anything works better for white men than for any other sector of the population - which is, again, very obvious with the relative impact of Covid-19 on different sectors of the population.

As a professional historian of science I would be the last person here to decry to achievements of science. But I also recognize science's shortcomings and blind spots and know very well that some of what is once taken as truth may at a later date be found false. Conjectures and refutations is the key reading there.

Astrid crushed an egg. The chick inside is still alive. I could see a pulse but it wasn't moving otherwise. One tiny spot of blood. The membrane was dried so I put coconut oil on it and slipped the egg back under her. :idunno
Do you think the egg got crushed because she is trying to keep an eye on the other chicks while sitting?

I had 5 pulled and a plastic set made for the top before I came out here. Bad error with hindsight. The work I had done in the UK wasn't very good and the plastic set broke within a few months.
The replacement set I had made here and they been excellent and very cheap relatively speaking. I'm waiting for a new bottom set atm, but of course, like everything else it seems, Covid has put everything way behind schedule.
