According to the mountain weather station today's high was 37C air temp. But, what is called 'real feel temp' now was 41C. Can't do Jack in that. So I didn't.

No external pips. Not sure any more are going to hatch. Will candle tonight and see what I see.
I don't have much experience with it but at 7 days I thought I had a dud. I thought I saw movement it 3 eggs at day 15.
It would be ironic that Astrid crushed the only egg with a live chick in it. And it survived that.

According to the news you've got a bit of a heat wave over there Perris.

I went to town today. Not the village. A proper town. I had some paperwork to sort out and dropped into my favorite Moroccan food shop. I get my spices there and they sell okra, dessicated coconut and lots of other stuff the usual shops seem to price as specialist foodstuffs.
It was hot and I saw the ice cream fridge and thought I'll get myself a bit of ice cream. There was something called Magnum on offer; half price in fact. Little ice creams on sticks. I bought a box.
WTF is that crap!? I have never tasted worse ice cream in my life. It was so sickly that I gave the rest of the box away to kids in the town square. I had to get an ice lolly after that to wash away the taste. At least you can buy those knowing it's frozen water and fruit juice here.

Here people seem to love Magnum ice cream bars. Did the have dark chocolate on the outside?
