Which way is the wind blowing? I have an acquaintance in another thread that lives in the Sonoma area.
It is blowing towards Woodland from the fire. Smoke and ash is bad here.
Sonoma is on the other side of the Coast range mountains from us so the wind might be different there
 
Not good is it. Fire watch here is an high alert. It was supposed to cool down a bit here today but it just got hotter. 37C top temp 99F rounded up.
Tomorrow is forecast to be much the same.:(
There is a cloud bank and storm coming but it keeps getting blown back out to sea.
We have been on a red fire alert for a while now.
 
It's time to tap these folks who claim to want my two 16 week old cockerels. They are starting to spar. And tonight was the second time I've pulled Maximilian out of a nest box with chopped straw glued to his feet with egg. :rant
Production is low enough without that clod crushing eggs.

One of my young cockerel where are raising for meat got my foot in crap tonight mounting the one silkie soon as I put her in the coop had them in the tractor he was on her, not old enough to do it but practicing. The door was still open from bringing her in he flew out .. Now out enjoying the brambles for awhile if a cat does not get him they are not very old
