Good morning, Cafe' - coffee is ready.

Code men/inspectors - there's good ones and then there's those on a power trip. In my work I had to deal with USDA and FDA inspectors. A truly 'tempering' experience for someone with my temperament.

I managed the vivarium for a major pharmaceutical company.

In reality the FDA inspectors as a whole were more professional than many of the USDA inspectors.

Good morning, cafe! Thanks for the coffee, DL! That's great you've got a good relationship with the inspector. Too bad he's retiring. Hopefully you don't have any troubles with the next one.

19°f (-7°c) at the moment and roads were an ice block this morning. Winter storm watch is saying 5-13" of snow Friday/Saturday and -20° wind chill. Eek. I'm going to have to figure out what to do with my bulbs/tubers if it doesn't warm back up.

Tea's made. There's a bar of Almond Turron on the counter.
Got the Nissan stuck in the field today. Hemp sacks and rocks to get it out.
Raining this evening but not cold.
