Finally, you catch a break - Nan too. :yesss:
Nan and I will be getting a longer break than this week.
One of his sister's called and asked if they could pick him up after his next clinical trial visit, which is Monday, to have him visit for about 4 days. She then called back and asked if 2 weeks would be too much. I told her that would be fine pending Nan's test results.
I dread the repercussions of the visit. He gets noticable worse by the week and everyone will naturally blame me because of the lousy care I give him and because, and I quote, "I'm never home".

Maybe a week is long enough then?
Catch-22...more of a break, but longer to 'recover'.
Add one more component to the Catch 22: I've always said that no matter how I feel about his family, he loves them and I'll never deny him an opportunity to spend time with them.
I'm at the point where if anyone so much as suggests I'm inadequate at caring for him and not giving him the best I can they will regret ever opening their mouths and will have proof positive of the b!tch I can be when provoked. The gloves came off and the plastic facade melted when all the sh!t hit the fan back in August.
