You say that like it's weird or something.
I have planned mine.
They both know that I am to be cremated. They are to put my ashes in my plaid lunch box and then take me on a picnic. Subway subs, And my husband can have the onions and salami .

Blue jeans, flannel shirt, work boots and a dog lead folded beneath my head in case I need it wherever I go. The Princess says I can not be cremated. She wants to come and visit me after -------------

The muffins look yummy! I'll have one of those and bring some chocolate cupcakes for Krista
These are chocolate with coffee icing!

I would LOVE to see the asylum! I love reading about those places, we had a state hospital up here. It was closed probably 30 years ago now. Part of it is a minimum security prison (that says something) and the rest is just falling apart. I spent eight years working in the mental health field. Some of our older persons (those who could talk) had some pretty vivid memories about that place. I'm sure there are a few tour turned souls wandering around that place.

And as much as I love math, it can't explain everything! Though some of those differential equations were pretty creepy.

Would you be talking about Newberry? That place was still a working hospital when we still lived in the UP.
Old saw, if you don't toe the line and fly right, you will be sent off to Newberry

Sorry 3goodeggs, I don't have any 'good' ghost stories. But my DW might make one when she passes, her ashes are to be buried on top of her horse as if she was on one last ride. I might have a problem as both are still doing well and very much on the go.

Why yes Scott, I would be talking about Newberry! From what former patients as well as older mental health workers tell me, it was not a pleasant place. There are pictures posted on some website of the part of the hospital that is no longer being used.

None of us are planning on checking out. We just want what we want.
Or otherwise, we will come back to haunt you.

And, don't scare the grand kids.

It is a beautiful day today! Although yesterday's snow still has not fully melted. I decided to take one of the dogs for a walk today. Mostly I go because I NEED the walk, and I figure I should take a dog. I try to only take one because the two boys try to dislocate my shoulder with all their pulling, and the three of them is impossible. Since I took Tonka (Prozac boy) yesterday, I thought I would take Max today. I have to be kind of sneaky about it, because who ever gets left behind gets jealous.

Welll...I guess I wasn't sneaky enough, Tonka saw us leaving and pitched a fit. We had to go back and get him because I was afraid what he would chew up while I was gone! Then Sammy got mad that she was being left behind and tried to sneak out the door. It looked like the Keystone cops trying to get out of the garage with those two!

Now we are waiting for DH to finish cutting wood so we can go to the garage. Hopefully the walk will mean the boys won't wander off and find something stinky to roll in.
