How is the lake levels? Seems to me I remember something about a news story about low water levels in a couple of the lakes?

Yes...some lakes are seriously low.
They came up some last year....a lot of people believe the low lake levels are caused by the pumps on the old Air Force base.....the base was turned into low income housing for the most part....I don't know the answer.

I was thinking/asking about the Great Lakes, not the local ones. I would think that if you are in a bit of a drought that the local lakes would be down some.

Great lakes are actually up.....some years back they were horrible....but
The last few years with the hard winters and complete freeze overs they are up some.

If it weren't so pretty, it would be a lot harder to tolerate. Mud isn't pretty, and it's pretty intolerable, too.

You ought to see what it does to curly hair . . . . BB2K's hair has become curly, and some days, it coils up like springs.

My ducks sure like the mud!

And my hair is straight as a board. Humidity just makes it droop. But I do believe I'd just as soon put it in a ponytail as to have really curly hair when its humid!
