Before 2013 when I stopped decorating for Christmas, I always went to a local tree farm and cut my own tree. I love live trees.
But I can't stand the waste. I was walking into WM yesterday and there were at least 3 dozen cut trees lined up along the wall that no one had purchased.
I'm going to get an artificial tree so I don't have to start harvesting a tree that only goes to decorate my house once a year.
I've got it in my Amz cart and am waiting to see the price drop before buying it.

We used to have a small live tree in a pot. After Christmas it used to get planted.

Maggie is learning words : outside, inside, come, sit and especially NO!

That's why if you stand in a park and shout NO! you get surrounded by dogs.

Today was almost 4 minutes longer since Solstice...still no eggs.

Today I brought in 9 eggs, biggest haul since molting started.
MaeDae not only turned into a beautiful pullet, she lays olive eggs! She started 2 weeks ago.
