I don't know why she stopped. Likely because she had no one in Texas looking after her. Her behavior has alienated her from all her children, their spouses and her grand children. She blames her ex-husband and claims he turned them against her. She is incapable of seeing that it was all her doing.
I've no choice but to back away from it all. I have more than enough on my plate to deal with and have neglected myself and my household for far too long. I'm letting them sort things out.

Morning! Thanks for the coffee.
The sun is back out and I think we got- shy of 3 very fluffy inches of snow because it is cold again out there. Wrestling practice today and I am doing a food run for my immune-compromised friend, especially with the rise in cases, she really doesn't want to be in the mix. DS! and his family and in-laws all came down with Da'Vid last week and everyone is recovering nicely. TG for that!

Good evening Cafe.
There's a pot of tea on the stove.
It looks like we were lucky regarding the storm. Not a lot of rain. No snow at our altitude. Very windy but nothing except trees damaged, plus the usual flying plant pots.
The wind has gone now. Even saw some sunshine this morning. The land will be mostly dry by the morning and we'll all live to fight another day.

Back on zone restrictions with Da'Vid. I'm not sure that a couple of small businesses I know of in the village can survive another bout of restrictions.
There are things I need to get done that imvolve a trip to Barcelona but they're just not possible with the current movement restrictions.

I hope all of your coops were able to withstand and your chickens are alright?

The best the rest of us can hope for is we will hear a little bit less about how the USA is such a wondeful democracy and we should all follow it's example.

Why did this make me laugh out loud?

Is it because I recognize that we can be pretty dern insufferable at times, and maybe we can all benefit from a good dose of humility? 'Cause it's true, look behind a lot of the anger in this country right now, and what you'll find is embarrassment.

And this the sad harsh reality exhibited last week and predicted for the coming weeks.

Which I understand is a lot of the reason that Congress is now making noises about impeachment. If convicted, he will never be able to run for political office again, among other things. To truly put this event behind us, this man will have to be put in a situation where he can't ever be a political rallying point again, or this may just be the beginning.

I found some European bacon at Sam's today. It looks delicious!
There are a lot of people out there with mental illness and one of the main issues with their disease is that they do not realize that they even have a mental illness. That truly complicates things.
Imagine how you would feel if someone came up to you and took away your car, the one that you have been paying for, etc. They said that it is their car and you need to just accept that on their word because. You know that is your car and you are supposed to just agree to it? That is how a lot of people feel when they get told that they have a mental illness and that is why they can be so resistant. They have no awareness of the illness.
