Seems to think they will give them in the next week ?

Have you looked at Aarts setup for chicks with the doors the chicks can get through, but the chickens can't? If not, you should. It's sweet.Chilly and breezy, but sunny here now. Upper 40s and sunny the rest of the week. Yay!
I hear ya on the dentist. We haven't gone since covid, and probably won't until we get vaccinated. So it'll be about 18 months between cleanings. Not what we usually do.
I'm getting the stuff to get chicks. Got feed, grit, and a warmer plate. I really need to be on top of this so if I have a chance for Blue Australorps, I can jump on it.
Last night when I couldn't sleep, I was planning out how I would move chicks into the run when they're big enough. It'll be four chicks (TSC minimum), and I think I'll just move the brooder (xl dog crate) out to the run. I plan to fence off about 1/3 of the run for the little's area and do look but don't touch for two? three? weeks. Total area of run is about 90 sf.
Will chicken wire be strong enough for the fence? Maybe make a "littles" door for the second week to see about them intermingling.
Suggestions welcome....
Ah, right. I have a roll of HC that I can use along the bottom. The HC is only 24" wide, so that's why I didn't think of it as a fence. But it'll be great to reinforce the bottom. Thanks.I would think chicks could get through the chicken wire and/or get stuck in it. Hardware cloth would be better.
Is it a Mac? They seem to keep removing features with new models. DW's most recent iMac doesn't have a CD/DVD reader either, her old one did. My "new" Macbook Pro has an SD card reader ONLY because I didn't buy the new replacement model. It isn't like there was much other difference between the two.MY BRAND NEW computer doesn't have an SD card reader or an F-ing cd/dvd reader. I can't post pics of any way that I know how.
I went a few months ago, the hygienist was almost an astronaut. She had a belt device that cleaned the air before it went into her "helmet".Have to go to the dentist today, nerve racking in COVID times.
Oh my!!! That would be more than awful. I sure hope he is fixable. He's constantly throwing up in his sleep, sleeping sitting up or not sleeping at all.
I hope so that would make for a rough night. After a while of no sleep it creates other problems. My sleep apneia has me messed up. Should've looked into it YEARS earlier. He's constantly throwing up in his sleep, sleeping sitting up or not sleeping at all.they can get it under control without surgery. Poor guy. He'll get hernias fixed while he's there for that.
Hay I don't carry full oxygen bottles up flights of stairs anymore, or haul 10-12k square bales a week either. I also can't anymore. I really need to work out.Yes. That kind of hard work needs to be reduced as you age. Go ahead and try explaining that to a man.
All one can do.We'll figure it out, I suppose.
That can be handy.Good thing the kids are young and close by!
Yes I've noticed that with almost everything these days. Even the free stuff like file manager or whatever the wife was using is no longer an option and some CAN'T be bought and downloaded so you have another monthly payment. I always have people at work telling me to get this get that it's not much. Well it adds up.es they expect you to buy all kinds of peripherals but the price doesn't go down.
I used to be productive in the mornings but not so much recently. I like my coffee calm and my toast warm and my eyes fully open before I venture outside.I adopted chicken hours. I can't sleep in if I think they need something. I tend to be up at 5:30.
Of course, mornings are my time. DH doesn't wander out until around 11:00-11:30 some days.
I do if they are on the ground and I did for the duck shed. Hardware cloth skirt and full cover on underside.Don't you put hardware cloth aprons around the buildings?
It's in one of the fair pictures Meg but not in an individual post. That's great you sold a lamp! Is it one of the ones in your thread?
Too bad about the rats. Are you going to have to break out the slingshot?
