Good morning everyone!

I brought a nice big pot of hot coffee for those in need.

So I imagine 100's of birds sexed as you described and only 2 were inaccurate?
That's pretty darn impressive, not something most could do.

That's for the BCM since I started to determine their sex right after hatching or as one day old.

With some other breeds I was not as successful, as it is a learning curve. Works best when you already own and know the ancestor birds for generations.

We got a coating, thought it was a just a really bright moon at first.
It'll all melt within a day or so.

Good morning, Cafe' - no snow here just dank, damp, dreary.

A minor dusting of white stuff on some surfaces here. I've already put the heated water bowl away, so I took out warm water this morning, and will check it when I do an egg check in an hour or so. Tomorrow morning will be chillier. But then it's supposed to warm up and be spring. So they say.

Today will be a good day to stay inside mostly. Laundry, bake some bread, take a nap... you know, that kind of thing.

My "DD" friend gets a port put in today for chemo.

Still raining. I'll make a run to the Amish and TSC this morning, and then work dogs this afternoon when it is supposed to be clear but cool.

Just checked... the water in the bowl is still liquid. The birds were all inside. They came out and looked at me like, "Momma... wtf?"
