Hearing the chittering of chicks in the lower level this morning is sweet.
Last evening not so much, there's always that one chicks that gets 'lost' on top of the heater and distress cheeps until it finds its way back down....
..either me going and putting it under, if yelling SHUTUP from upstairs doesn't startle it off the top doesn't work.

I did because I never got them. Still don't have them so I don't know what the point was other than to let the IRS know they dropped the ball.

Not sure a tax return is the place to deal with that.
I got my first in check form, haven't gotten the second.
I hope they didn't try to deposit it in a long gone account I once received my refund to,
like they did to my daughter.

The first of Miss Maggie Mae's toys is a casualty. Platypus has been eviscerated and his squeaker destroyed. Dani used to kill all of her toys, but Maggie has been less successful - so far.

Morning Cafe .. Had to laugh at Maggies fun .. Years ago my pup Rain had a stuffed cat she just loved carried it everwhere ... She was eating her dinner Chase stole the cat she had the poor thing eviscerated in two seconds
